Covid Safety

Our venues and people

It means we are following the strict guidelines set by government which allows us to deliver safe and fun experiences to our players. We have assessed every part of our experience; the spaces we provide, our team, the training given to them, the way our players move through our venues, our food and drinks and how we look after you.

Each lane is a semi private space which keeps you separate from the majority of other groups in the venue and we have floor markings which will ensure all groups are staying a safe distance from one another. We have also staggered start times for each lane to reduce the chance of crowding.

Yes, we will have hand sanitiser stations, including on the lanes and all areas you’d pass through during your visit with us.

Each axe is deep cleaned before your session starts. You will be given your own axe at the start of your session and will be the only person using this axe for the entirety of your session. Once the session is finished each axe will be deep cleaned ready for the next session.

When you arrive at the venue, we will ask you to check-in. One of the team will then take you straight to your lane. When moving around the venue we ask all of our players to look out for each other, waiting to let each other pass in narrower places and ensuring a safe and sensible distance is kept at all times. Our team will be on hand to ensure no bottlenecks or crowding occurs.

There may be parts of the venue which are not in use when you visit. These will be clearly cordoned off with relevant signage to let you know.

No, our bar won’t be open for customer use at this time. Drinks can be ordered from our team members who will be on hand to provide anything you need and allow you to pay by card at your lane. This will be revised as and when restrictions are lifted.

All of our team have taken part in extensive Covid safe training, before returning to the workplace, in order to keep our players and their colleagues safe.

All members of the team have their temperature checked upon arrival. Members of our team are tested when directed to do so by a healthcare professional.

Your visit and our session

Face coverings are no longer required in our venues. If you’d feel more comfortable wearing one, that’s totally cool with us!

Yes. They will be deep cleaned at regular intervals throughout the day to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.

Your group may be asked to wait outside for a short time to facilitate safe customer flow through the venue.

Our instructors are experts at getting everyone up to speed and smashing bullseyes in no time.

No, but we have a great choice of drinks in the venue and our team can help you out with getting what you need.

Do not attend your session if you or someone in your household has Covid-19 symptoms. Please email us at hello@theholroydarms.com and one of the team will be able to reschedule your session.

Of course! Axe clinking or ‘air high fives’ are recommended but feel free to get creative with it.

If you feel uncomfortable during your session please speak to one of our managers who will be more than happy to discuss our in-venue covid safety measures.
